HELPING TO FEED HUNGRY SOULS WITH RUNNING SOLES
Mark your calendars for the 10th Annual Harvest Hustle 5K Run on Saturday morning, November 22nd. The race starts at 8am sharp at Harvest. The course traverses around the beautiful neighborhood landscapes of Country Club, with the top finisher and age-group awards ceremony thereafter. NOT RUNNING HARVEST HUSTLE ON NOVEMBER 22ND? We would love to see you participating in the Harvest Hustle, but if running just isn’t your thing; please consider contributing to this important ministry through pre-race and race day preparations. Much help is needed with the following organizational teams: sponsor recruitment, packet stuffing, trophies and awards, course guides, race day registration, refreshments setup, race site setup, time tabulation team. ANNUAL CHARGE CONFERENCE Everyone is invited to attend Harvest’s Charge Conference. This is the annual meeting where our pastors share a “State of the Church” address and leadership for the coming year will be adopted. The meeting is on Thursday, November 20, at 6:30 pm. "The Jesus I Never Knew," by Philip Yancey, will be the new study for the Journeymen Seed Group. The author states that in his research he discovers a Jesus much different from the Jesus he learned about in Sunday school. This study gives a moving and refreshing portrait of this central figure of history. The first session will be Friday, September 12, 7:00am to 8am. Sunday EVEnings!

All ladies are invited to attend Tuesday Live! The morning session meets for brunch at 9:00 am followed by small group study sessions. No one will want to miss this wonderful celebration that begins the Advent/Christmas season. Together with the praise band, the adult choir, the youth choir and soloists participating, we’ll be able to enjoy much of our favorite Christmas music. We’ll also hear the stories, legends and scriptural foundations for all of the Christmas decorations while we completely adorn the Harvest Centre in one worship service. Everyone will have a role to play - sign up at the Hospitality Hub to take part with your friends or your household. Rehearsal will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 5:45 p.m. and the worship celebration at 6:30 p.m.
The Harvest Music Academy is in its fourth season and ready to teach anyone to make a “Joyful Noise to the Lord.” Adults to children, beginners or experienced, Beethoven to the Beatles. Come and learn to make the music you’ve always wanted to make. Guitar, piano, voice, and drum lessons are available, and we’re working on flute lessons. Interested? Call Dan Whissell at 219-9645.
