Invitation to the Old Testament: Disciple Short-term Study as it says, is an invitation to get a feel for the Old Testament. It invites participants to listen with new ears to the various narrators of stories from the Torah (the first five books of the Bible), the Law, the Prophets, and the Wisdom writings. It is also an 8-week study modeled after the basic design of DISCIPLE Bible study. Again a two-part video introduces each session with presentation from biblical scholars. This study is very discussion oriented, but no previous knowledge is expected.
