Youth Week is Coming!!!
August 8-12
Next week is Youth Week 2010!!! Get excited, because we have some awesome stuff in store. Each evening from Sunday through Thursday we will have some sort of wildly crazy activity. We will start each evening with some “Community Time” of dinner, games, worship, etc… at Harvest, then head out to have even more fun. Email Andrew at abaten@harvest-umc.org if you have any questions, or if you want to help drive for one or more events.
If you are planning on attending any events, please sign up at HY5, at Hospitality Hub 1, or on the Bulletin Board by Hub 1. Registration is not required, but very helpful to us.
What kinds of wonderfully crazy fun stuff are we going to be doing, you ask… Stuff like this:
Sunday, August 8 – Youth Sunday
9 & 10:30 am
We want to start the week off right in the morning by presenting a solid front at our morning worship services. HY5 will be leading all aspects of both services that morning! How awesome would it be to communicate to our congregation that a week of incredible power is about to rumble through our youth ministry?! If you would like to help in the service, please contact Scott or Andrew. Even if you do not sign up to do anything, we strongly encourage everyone to be at one or both services that morning, supporting and sharing in worship with other youth!
Sunday, August 8 – Scavenger Hunt
6-10pm
Scavenger Hunts are always crazy and this year will be no different. We’re going to team up, pile into cars, and compete for the title of “Scavenger Juggernaut”! There are always a few crazy, “I can’t believe somebody actually thought of that to put it on a scavenger hunt list” items that you won’t want to miss!
